Nyesom Wike on said the current economic turmoil in the country will not take its toll on Rivers State.
Rivers State Governor stated this while speaking at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium during the “Connected in Rivers” Crusade hosted by the Deeper Life Bible Church in Port Harcourt.
Wike in his speech, stated that the economic recession in the country will not affect the state because Rivers State is a “special state.“I know we have a problem in the country"
But I can tell you that Rivers State will not see that problem.
This state is a special state for God.The Governor expressed his appreciation to the General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, William F. Kumuyi, he said that the security situation in Rivers State has improved since the last time he visited the state. He said the state requires the prayers of spiritual leaders to ensure development. “Let me tell our father in the Lord, since your last crusade, many things have improved in the state. As governor, I have first hand information on these improvements.
“We require the prayers of our spiritual fathers like Pastor William Kumuyi. With prayers for Rivers State, that the statebwill continue to see peace and development.
