ANOTHER BABY IS BORN

Another baby? yes. That right there is screenshot from this site. It belongs to a (yet another) 4GLTE in Nigeria. They are called InterC and according to their locations page, they will operate in Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Kaduna at first, before rolling out to Lagos and other locations later. So, there’s InterC, Smile, Spectranet, Ntel, Swift, Glo and (soon) MTN. All fighting for the same users, all buying bandwidth from the same company.

 Anybody remember those Intercellular x “Hello Moto” ads from the early days of GSM in Nigeria?.
 This isn’t as much of a launch as it is a resurrection . For their relaunch, InterC is partnering with Transsion Holdings (makers of Infinix, Tecno, and iTel phones, which explains the Infinix promo on their site), Ringo Communications, and Yudala. They are offering fast internet at low prices – like everybody else. In the same vein, they are offering free internet for the first month, and 25% off free of charge #FOC.
